Otis Kelly, a senior at Morro Bay High in California, placed second in the Division 4 boys final at the Central Section Championships by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 16:07.71 at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. Kelly helped Morro Bay secure sixth place in 248 points, advancing to race Nov. 25 at the CIF State Cross Country Championships at Woodward Park.
